My name is Alexandria. I was born on August 22nd 1989 I am now 17 years old.
I have three little sisters; Charlotte (9), Danielle (8) and Kristin (5). I've been homeschooled since kindergarten. I've been able to concentrate on the performing arts, which is what I enjoy doing.
I take dance 6 1/2 hours a week (ballet, Pointe, jazz, tap, musical theater) and this year I started Flamenco, which is Spanish dance. I love it!
My goals and ambitions are pretty clear to me now; I would really like to perform on stage. I love dancing, acting, singing and musical theater so much, and I would love to expand more into other performing arts. To me, theater is a way of expressing one's self.
Actually, when I first started acting, I wanted to act in movies. I was only eight at the time.
As I grew older, I saw that acting in movies wasn't all it was choked up to be; some stars can't even go shopping without the store being closed down just for them. That's a little too much for me. Plus, on a movie set you can do as many takes as you want to get the perfect scene, on stage you can't do that.
I am also your new movie reviewer for The Cool Critic's Corner, so I hope you all enjoy my movie reviews!

I would like to be a doctor when I grow up - I have said I wanted to be a doctor ever since I was 3. I really think that God has called me to be a doctor to help people and be a blessing in their lives and to do His will.
I love to play the piano, and the guitar. I like dancing, singing, acting, cooking, babysitting, playing sports... And most of all I Love Jesus Christ!
Previous Writer: Allison
Hello fellow sisters in Christ! My name is Allison, I am 13 years old. I am home schooled. I currently live in the United States south. I enjoy reading, writing, computer, interpretive dance, babysitting and photography. I don't like chocolate.
One thing Jesus has taught me is how much he loves me and calls me his child. He has gifted me with encouragement, administration, hospitality, compassion, teaching, and help/service. My favorite Bible verse is 1John 3:1.
I decided to become a writer for GGFG because it had always encouraged and inspired me and I want to continue to see it do that for other girls.
Have a wonderful day and remember Jesus loves you sooooooooooooo much!
Previous Writer: Chadia
I met Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 13. I had lost both of my parents when I was 11 and that turned me into a lonely, mixed up girl even though I was surrounded by many people who thought I was happy. I remember I hated God for taking away the persons I loved most. Many nights I cried in my bed, missing my mom and wondering why i was still alive.
But one day, I heard about a Jesus who loved me, who cared about me and I received Him in my heart. That changed my life because since then, Jesus became more than what mom and dad should have been for me if they were still alive; He changed me, brought back my peace and joy, and fought for me whenever I needed Him. He's faithful and He'll never leave me, He promised me.

Your sister in Him,
Previous Writer: Elizabeth O.
Hi! my name is Elizabeth and I am 11 years old. I have known God since I was 5, and have tried hard to please Him since. After I accepted Jesus, I told my sister Allie about Him. She was only 3 or 4 at the time, but she still asked Jesus to come into her heart.
Today I live in New York and have a tiger cat named Phoebe (pronounced Fee-bee). I have a collection of Teddy bears that is slowly growing. So far I have 11 of them. Goldenrod, Rabbi, Moonlight, Melysa, Violette, Aaren, Peppermint, Duchess, Barbra, Sunbeam, and Whitnie.
I love reading and writing, so I was glad when I was chosen to be a committed writer. After all, it would help me to practice! I love writing fiction. With fiction, you can create and build the story and characters in the way you want to. My favorite authors are Jules Verne and Ann M. Martin, The authors of A JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH and DOLL PEOPLE.
Previous Writer: Grace
Hey Girls! My name is Gracie; I'm 13 years old. I love Jesus Christ my Lord, and I accepted him in my heart when I was 8.
Many people get caught up in the type of world we live in today, and end up forgetting about their amazing Creator. I am very well known throughout my school, so that means I meet a lot of new people everyday. Some are Christians and some aren't, and there is always a large tendency of falling under pressure, but when I feel like I am going to fall under it I always ask myself "Would God want me to do this?", and that always helps. :)
I enjoy spending time with my family and especially my mom - she's my best friend. I tell her everything, and I cannot spend a day without not telling her what happend at school. She's one of my rolemodels (besides GOD), ever since I was a little girl she always gave me advice with lessons from the Bible. That has given me a lot of wisodom on doing good choices that would make my LORD happy.
Just like everybody else, I always do mistakes many times. I'm not perfect, and thats final. I perfectly understand. But I personally think its awesome and amazing how after everything I do God still loves and cares about me. Because of this my favorite Psalm is Psalm 51.
Writer: Jemimah R.
My Name is Jemimah. I am 11 years old and am a born again Christian. I trusted Christ with my life and accepted Him when I was 6 years old and from then on I have been His child. I got baptized when I was 11 in May with my older brother (Cameron) and Granddad, in a freezing cold river! But it was worth it!
I have four siblings - all brothers! I also have a very cute cousin!
My family and I have 4 horses and 3 dogs. One of the dogs is mine, Lucy! The Lord has blessed me with Christian grandparents and parents!
My favourite singers are Lecrae, Natalie Grant, Casting Crowns, and Selah!
Well thats pretty much all about me! God Bless!
Previous Writer: Jemima S.
My name is Jemima S.! I'm a new writer here as you can see, and well here's my bio!
I am from England and well I grew up as a rich girl... I had a mum and a dad who spoiled me! Then about seven years later I had a baby sister who was only 2lbs at birth. I started to realize that I had to be a responsible big sister as my little sister would be following my steps...
We moved from where we were living and kind of went outside the city. A few years later a very close relative in my nuclear family (won't say who for privacy reasons) was diagnosed with cancer, Leukemia. I suddenly realized as the days, months, and years went by that I needed to read my Bible and pray everyday - it was just necessary. Now that my family and I are living life just like we used to be before that incident happened and we know now that we can trust God for anything and it will be done!
Previous Writer: Kaylee S.
My name is Kaylee and I'm 12 years old. I love being the girl that God created me to be, and I know that I am still young and I hopefully have a long life to live, but I know that everyday is a gift from God!
I live in Ohio with my dad, my brother who is 16, and my other brother who is 20 is living in California. My mom was killed in a car accident when I was 4 years old, and there are no words to describe how much I love her and miss her.
I will be going into the 7th grade and I like history and science, but I don't do so well in math. I love reading the Bible and my favorite book (right now) is Revelation. It's very hard to understand, but I love how it was written and how it talks about so many different things, especially when Jesus destroys all the evil and makes everything new.
My BFF Trish is so very dear to my heart. I love her so much and we do everything together. We are best friends and sisters in the Lord and we both love Jesus, and fashion, and baking and so many other things.
When I get older, I would love to start my own store for women's fashions that are modest and please God. I am already making plans to do this because I am starting to see more and more web sites that have very pretty modest clothing for women. I think that it is so important for us girls to dress modestly because Jesus tells us to. My favorite web sites so far are called shabbyapple.com and diviinemodestee.com.
Previous Writer: Kimberly: Webmaster/Designer/Founding Member
(Awesome girl, and besides that, original founding member!)
My name is Kimberly, and I'm 16. I am currently in 10th grade. I'm Christian, and homeschooled. I was saved at a young age, and am so blessed to grow up in a Christian home.
I just moved to Georgia, and we are currently looking for a new church. Please pray that we'll be able to find one that suits our needs!
I have one sibling: Christina. I like reading, shopping, swimming, movies, hanging out with friends, computer, etc.
God has been so good to me, and I love having Jesus as my Savior.
Previous Writer: Makaeyla
My testimony is very long so I'll just tell you a little about myself. I'm 13 and I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior in April/May of this year (2011) thanks to my amazing youth pastor Ruben, who adopted me as his spiritual daughter June this past summer.
I live in Texas, yee-haw! and am a part of the resistance at Crossroads Fellowship. i am often called "colorful" and "interesting," in a good way (:
I love tacos and chocolate! I want a puppy, but mom says no. I like watching spanish soap operas when I'm upset. I want to be a marine on reserve and a youth pastor on base. Most importantly, I LOVE Jesus!
Previous Writer: Mariana M.
My name is Mariana, and I'm fifteen and a junior in high school. I accepted God into my heart when I was eight years old.
However, I really didn't understand what I was doing. This last summer I rededicated my life to Him, so that He could shape me and mold me into the design of his son Jesus Christ. Every day is a learning experience for me.
I have three jobs - babysitting, an Office Professional, and as a pianist. I serve God by playing piano for two churches 1-3 times a month.
I am a dancer and have been dancing for 11 years. My favorite kind of dance is ballet. But I like Jazz, tap, and swing dancing too. A couple weeks ago, I got my first pair of point shoes. I also like to read, hang with friends, and spend time with my family.
I have four siblings. One of them graduated from a one year college called NBI, and now is starting his first year at Triton down in IL. He is nineteen. My second eldest brother is seventeen and in his Senior year of high school. Then there is me, I want to do high school in three years so technically I'm supposed to be a sophomore, but that's not happening...Beth is my younger sister. She is twelve and in seventh grade. Graciella is seven and in second grade now. We've been home schooled our entire lives, and let me tell you, it's amazing! We have been so blessed.
Besides God, my role model is Bethany Hamilton. I saw her movie Soul Surfer, and bought it the first day it came out. She did the impossible. But what she did was possible because she had God as her encourager, Savior, and Lord of her life.
My dream right now is to go to Nicolet Bible Institute, (NBI) and from there go on to do ministry of some sort. My other dream is to fall in love with a handsome Christian man, and get married. Don't laugh! :)
I have many best friends, not just one. One of my more recent friends I found on a pen pal site called pen-pal party. Her name is Ella and she lives in Austria. Isn't that cool?!
One thing I think God is teaching me right now, is Jeremiah 29:11 " For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, " plans for good and not for evil. To give you a future and a hope."
This verse has meant a lot to me. I know God has plans for me and a purpose for my life, but sometimes I want it now and start to push ahead of myself. This is where I have had some conflict happening. What I need to just do is trust Him.
I love writing! As soon as I learned my alphabet I began writing stories. Every time I wrote a new one, I would give it to my grandparents. In fact, they have all of my good ones. Then for a year I had writer's block. It was terrible. Now, I just started to be able to write again. I feel like I can reach out to people through my writing. And that's what I hope to do right now.
Previous Writer: Marlene Pearlstein
My name is Marlene Pearlstein. I am 48 years old and I live in Ohio on a farm. I am not really working yet. I am looking for a paying job, a job that I can do in the house. Since I have a computer and Internet service I want a job that I can do online. I love to pen pal with both sexes. I had my name and ad on some of the pen pals sites, and I have been doing this for a long time. I love to help people out. It started out with helping Bobby, then I helped Bobby's cousin Penny.
I live with a roommate - that is not so nice, but we live together. I felt in my heart that I wanted to help out people. It makes me feel good when I do that.
As for the home the girls are in, Penny calls it the "Home for Unwed girls." The House mom is the lady who helps them with things that they need. If they have problems and other things they can come to her.
I just feel the need to help out people. I am also thinking about going to Arkansas and trying and get a place for the girls to have. I just want to see girls off of the streets. I love God and I go to church every week. I want a place for girls so they can be able to be in a safe place and be able to grow and do things with their lives.
Previous Writer: Oksana H.
(A truly amazing girl, also one of the original members of GGFG!)
My name is Oksana, and I was adopted by an American family. I was in Russia for 13 years in the orphanage, and there I had like 90 friends. We had to go to a Catholic church. I did not like it because we had to stand there for a couple of hours.
I had a best friend named Olga, who is my sister now. We were sharing candies or anything else with each other. After I came from school, I would go and play with her outside, and we usually played tag. It was fun! But in 1999, the same family that adopted me later on was adopting her first. I missed her. After she came to America, when she knew English, she was telling her family about me; how we were best friends and played a lot.
One night her mom, which is now mine also, went to bed and God spoke with her and said she should adopt me. So, they came after September 11, 2001 to me. They adopted me in that same year. I was very happy to see Olga so I hugged her, but she was too timid. We came to our hotel then, and we played there. I got used to them. We were there about two weeks. We went to Moscow, which was gorgeous! I love it at night! We had a room on the 4th floor, I think, and it had a balcony, so at night when I would come out, I could see the Red Square.
After I came to Florida (I knew that it would not be snowing here), I was amazed because it was so beautiful, and the palm trees are so awesome! We had them in Russia, but not this kind, different!
I did not like some foods, like broccoli, cottage cheese, catsup, milk, and cheddar cheese. I still do not like catsup.
We went to and still go to Calvary Chapel. At first I didn't like it and did not want to go, because I was not going to Power House (the youth group), but to where the older people were. Every Wednesday and Saturday, I would ask Olga where we were going, and she would put her hands like she was praying, and I would know that's church. I would say, "Oh no! Not again!" A year later I liked it, and I learned a lot of English so I went to Power House and had a good time! On September, somewhere there, I became a Christian. Now I know the true God, not the picture that they had in Russia.
I believe that the miracle of my adoption was God's. He's awesome!
Previous Writer: Tammie C.
I am a Christian, and have been since I was very young, having been raised since I was a baby being a part of the church. I've been baptized in our church and they blessed me, introducing me to Christ. But then there is always temptations that comes to people that tests them, and I was one of them. The realization came to me that I did want to know Him more, understanding Him and His will that guides me to know Him.
Understanding Him more and knowing Him is a way that I have faith in God, because I believe that His mercy will remain and my faith to Him really endures; my love for Him grows. I really know He is with us always - that's how His graces falls unto us everyday. Searching Him is the beginning, knowing Him is the start, and following Him is the achievement we strive for.
Previous Writer: Taylor
My name's Taylor and I have let Jesus into my heart this past year. A tiny bit about how I became saved is that I was at a school where I was bullied for years and I was able to transfer to a Christian school. I have had a happy and healthy time there and still have more years to spend there. At this school I have met some wonderful teachers and friends. I met my best friend who is now practically my sister - she is a senior. We have chapel weekly and I just love the feeling that I get when our whole school prasies God together. I was saved in school while next to my best friend.
I would like to become a therapist when I am older because I believe I could relate to what most teens go through.
When I came across this website it made me smile. It's a Christian community that I would love to be a part of! I believe that if I have the opportunity to touch others and lead them to Christ with my God given talent to write that I should make an effort. I also think that being a part of this site would really help me stay focused on Christ and His will.
I love Jesus Christ and the ability He has on my heart!
